Assistant Air Quality Engineer - $5,268 to $6,527 per month
Air Quality Engineer I - $5,867 - $7,267 per month
Air Quality Engineer II - $6,214 - $7,698 per month

Located in Diamond Bar, AQMD is one of the largest, most technologically sophisticated environmental regulatory agencies in the nation.  New engineers are typically hired at the Assistant level, but become eligible for non-competitive promotion to each successive level above, following successful performance for the required time.  The most desirable candidates will have a BS/BA in chemical, mechanical, environmental, metallurgical, or petroleum engineering.  AQMD is an excellent, long-term career choice, with outstanding working conditions, exceptional benefits, and a 4/10 work schedule!
